Therapeutic Remedial Massage - 60 min

Service Description

This session is for you if you experience an area of mild chronic pain or multiple areas of mild to moderate chronic pain and have experienced relief from a firm massage in the past. If your pain is more acute and/or you have a recent injury, an Initial Physiotherapy Consultation is required for thorough assessment and management prior to a therapeutic massage. Remedial, Sports Specific or Deep Tissue Massage therapy treats one or multiple areas of pain or injury and their interconnected areas for pain relief and enhanced function*. The touch may be firm to deep at times, always in communication with you and with your cooperation through breath and movement. All treatments have the option to include hot rock therapy where hot rocks are placed at energy centres along the spine to create warmth and deep relaxation, balance your energy and facilitate healing. *Please note that due to specific areas being addressed as needed, your session may not include the whole body.
