The Question is "how"?

Hello beautiful friends,

I’m always trying to think of ways that I can engage you and draw you in to my world of body awareness and postural awareness. Why? Because you move better when you're more aware of your phsyical body and your posture is aligned with gravity.
What I'm sharing here is one of those ways!
How?
May I plant the seed of “how”?
We’re all busy with life. There’s endless doing and responsibilities every day. We have to eat well, drink 8 glasses of water, work, exercise, manage our stress, look after our hormones (women) and sleep for 8 hours. And try not to get stressed just thinking about juggling it all.
So, my tip for you to bring greater awareness to your body and improve your posture is to simply make your ‘mantra’ – HOW.
“How am I standing right now?”
“How am I sitting right now?”
“How am I reaching for the kettle or pot or book?”
“How am I holding the steering wheel?”
“How am I lifting this box?”
Are you slumping, dumping, rounding, over-reaching, tensing or using your spine instead of your powerful buttocks, thighs and calf muscles?
You don't have to change or delete anything from your long to-do list. By repeatedly remembering to ask the question, how am I doing what I’m doing, you’ll bring greater awareness to the quality of your stillness, movement and actions.
Even if you know nothing about the ideal way to posture and move your body, if you remember to ask yourself “how am I doing, what I’m doing”, you’re more likely to ...
be more present in your body,
slow down,
breathe better
and position or move
your body with greater care.
So that’s it. My simple message for today. I’d love to hear how you go and what this question brings to your daily life, living in your body.
