Hello beautiful friends,

I see it everywhere I look. People mis-using their bodies. People abusing their bodies. People contributing to their own pain and steady demise of their natural freedom of movement.
I see slumping, heads sticking way out in front of the body, shoulders forward and rounded, knees locked in standing and lots of dumping of body weight into the lower back. And then they say they have back pain.
What I’m about to share with you today I’ve been teaching my clients piecemeal for years, but the time has come to formally introduce you to the Karana Posture Program as a complete package.
All of my clients will have heard some of my posture spiel and been given some of my postural exercises over the years. After seeing the benefits – and the need for these exercises – for so many years, I’ve put together all my experience and knowledge on posture from over forty years of practice, into one comprehensive program.

The Karana Posture Program offers you a deep dive to truly transform your body under my supervision in a structured container and a dedicated period of time.
You have a choice to complete this program over two to four months. Over this time, with steady practice you will improve your posture, flexibility and strength in all the right places. You'll also relearn how to move, creating healthier movement patterns which will help you to age well and hopefully, gracefully – standing tall and walking confidently well into your 80’s and 90’s with perhaps less stiffness and fewer aches and pains than the average person.
Your training includes the essential KPP series of exercises, mind-body reprogramming practices and functional movement education viz. how to sit, stand, reach, lift and bend well. And between appointments we have Zoom sessions and email support to help keep you on track.

I currently have three fabulous clients undertaking the program and it’s so exciting to work with them in this committed way. One of these clients is someone I’ve known and worked with for about ten years. Even though she’s done some of the exercises in the past she’s discovering new perspectives every session. Her comments recently were: “this is so interesting. You explain it so well.” And she recently did a big session in the garden which would normally elicit back pain, but after doing her exercises for several weeks and following my postural guidelines she reported coming out the other side free of pain and exclaiming, “my garden is looking beautiful”.

This client’s intention for signing up was to learn a succinct and effective home program for her spine and body and this is precisely my intention in creating the KPP Program for you.

I believe that the KPP consists of the essential exercises we all need to do– including me! I did them this morning in my yoga practice and they always feel good, toning and opening me up so that I feel more aligned, relaxed and energised at the same time. And, centred in myself, ready to face another day.
Improving your posture, spinal strength and mobility increases the elasticity of all the muscular and connective tissues throughout your entire body, improving your quality of movement AND making you less likely to incur injuries and pain.
